The day ran surprisingly smoothly. Everyone turned up near enough at the right time, makeup looked great, hair (styled by Vickie) was good, clothes fitted models really well, and everyone involved with today had a great attitude. Despite it getting pretty cold, the models worked extremely well- remaining focussed on the job at all times.
Mark the photographer came with his assistant and were also really enthusiastic; I got a glimpse at a couple shots and from what I saw I think we are going to have some really strong images.
Meeting Stella the Eagle was a great experience and I even got to hold her- slightly scary giving the size of those talons!
The Eagle shots did start out a bit shaky, but once the models got used to handling her it became more fluid. It was hard to gage if there were any really strong shots though- I hope so.
The only thing I would say that put a dampener on the day was the manager of the club coming out and being slightly rude at points. Of course we understood his concerns of suitable footwear on the green, but at points I think he was just bored and looking for something to moan about...
And finally, I would like to mention how Kate supplied everyone with refreshments in the form of sandwiches and treats- you are a star!
